Hello,
I have had the great pleasure of serving as club president for the past year,
but time marches on and my term is now over.
I would like to thank my fellow exec members, Heather, Johanna, Amanda and Bobby for
their help in running the club. I would also like to thank the coaches: James
and Leta for their help in running practices and making sure club happenings
run smoothly. A special thanks goes out to the people who have helped the club
this year: Gene Hanratty, Russ Callen, Connie Hagler, David Goodman, Felix Hu,
Bruce Williams, South East Paddlers, Lanier Canoe/Kayak Club and Gina Sanchez.
I will be succeeded by Johanna Stark who is a very enthusiastic president. I
wish her and the rest of the new exec the best of luck this year. Thanks and
I'll see you on the water.

October 13, 2007 - GT Kayak attended the 2007 Triangle
Paddlefest. The club would like to congratulate alumni/coach
David Goodman for placing 1st and coach Leta Greenway
for placing 2nd in the 6 mile K1 race.
Congratulations also go out to Matt White/Tyler Howell
and Adam Moore/Matty Stone for placing 1st and 2nd
respectively in the 6 mile K2 race.
Good job team and keep up the hard work!
May 13, 2007 - GT Kayak successfully defended the Hagler-Sanchez Trophy
as the 2007 Collegiate National Championships.
Congratulations on our two-year winning streak, team!
On May 14th, 2006, Georgia Tech was awarded the Hagler-Sanchez
Trophy for winning the USACK Collegiate National Championships
in Chula Vista, California. We're National Champions!
Congrats to the team on a job well done! And thanks so much
to our sponsors!
